Boo Allergies You Stink!

Man, I've heard of dogs getting allergies, just never thought my dog would get them and that they could wreak so much havoc! She scratched herself bloody! Poor thing.

So this morning I made a vet appointment for her and as luck would have it, Jayda woke up sick this morning sick too. So needless to say, I'm home today.

The fun vet bill. Ear infection, allergies, antibiotics, steroids, medicated shampoo. Nice.

This is why my blog is titled Fun Times!? ;)

What a weekend...

This weekend:

• We went to Brian's FD picnic
• We went to the state fair
• Brady learned how to ride a 2 wheeler
• I ran the longest I'll run now before the marathon (24 miles)

My Grandpa on my Dad's side of the family passed away last night. He was 90 years old and suffering from cancer big time. Poor guy. My heart goes out to my Dad and all of the family on that side. :(

Getting so big

Guess who finally got a hair cut...

Every once in a while I get an idea in my head and just have to see it through, right now, this very minute, even though I should probably wait and think it through a little more. As was the case last night... I decided Jayda's hair was just too scraggly to take anymore, so I whipped out the scissors and snip snip snip her long locks were gone. I kind of wish I would have waited to take her to a professional, but then I think its only hair, it will grow back. And now it looks healthier too.

Little update

Its so hard to believe I just finished my 3rd week at the new job. The days just fly by and little by little its getting better - still don't have time to screw around during the day though. No more internet for me. Boo hoo!

Anyway, here's a little recap from the last couple of weeks.

4th of July was awesome. It was so nice to see family...

And after the end of another not so great week at work, to get flowers from my family... :)

Other than that not a whole lot to report. Still going to t-ball games, and running, and basically just trying to get through each day without losing my marbles.

The new job does not allow the blogging freedom that my old job did, so I'll probably only be posting pics once a week. And, speaking of the new job and adages - I have the perfect comparison: liquor before beer, in the clear; beer before liquor, never sicker.
