The weekend
Besides the usual exercise, cleaning, and laundry last weekend, we also did our taxes, went out to eat at Famous Daves with some friends, and went sledding. It was a nice weekend. Nice to exercise, nice to get chores done and out of the way, nice to see friends and go out to eat, nice to play in the snow, but what was nicest of all was getting $$ back from the government. Yay!

Where'd you go sledding?
I love tax time too! I did ours this weekend...it's sad when it is one of the highlights of the year. Can you tell we haven't had to pay in yet? I'm sure I'll feel differently once that happens!

Hey, what's that white stuff??? We just had a picnic outside today! Weird to think its Feb. and we're picnicing! I love getting taxes back too, I just can't wait for the day they go to something other than bills...like a new car or home improvements, you know, fun things!?!
E- We went sledding in a park right by my house. Not the one we went to with Alex once but the one you walked Zara to back when we still had Sarge.
A- We had to pay in one year back before we had kids. The good old days of being a dink.
J- As long as our kids are in the house I doubt we'll ever do anything "fun" with tax money. :)
We are getting more snow today! I'm about to send the kids out to play, they are driving me NUTS!
We did our fed taxes and we aren't getting as much back as usual because Bob had to file a 1099 for his bus driving job...it kinda screwed us bad! We are going to actually have to pay in to Indiana :P We can't wait to get to South Dakota where there isn't ANY state tax! Woo Hoo!
