I know your daycare is awesome...but that would seriously make me want to quit! Even though I would know it wasn't their fault. Oh, your poor baby! That must have hurt so bad. I hope she at least bit he kid back! :-) April
That is awful! When Jozie was in preschool there was one little boy - who's parents we were close friends with - who was constantly being mean her on a weekly, if not daily, basis. He hit, kicked and bit her! Jozie, being the sweet little girl that she always has been, went back day after day and only had friendship and forgiveness to offer the little jerk. The teacher was very concerned but not enough so to kick the kid out of the class because she knew both parents involved and would have been more aggressive had it been anyone else. I was so mad I could have paddled that little boy myself and it took such a tole on our friendship that we hardly spoke to each other for over a year. My dad even called the school irate over the matter and the teacher couldn't even talk to him about it because he wasn't a parent. We always told Jozie to punch him in the nose when he did it but she never did. Needless to say, I feel your pain and frustration over the matter!
Oh man, that looks awful. Poor Jayda! I always had a little girl bite me when I was little and it finally took biting her back for her to quit. Doesn't the daycare do anything about that? That would just tick me off!
LOL I love that all of you are mad for me. :) Thanks. It helps.
Daycare can't do diddly piddly except put the biter in timeout and notify the parents. Oh well. I guess I would be more horrified if Jayda were the one doing the biting.
