Over the weekend
Hotsie totsie around here. It feels so wrong to hide inside when its summertime, even if it is 100 degrees outside. We had plans to go to the Anoka County Fair and to the Minnesota Zoo this weekend and didn't end up doing either. It was just too hot and nothing is that enjoyable when your clothes are sopping with sweat and your hair is plastered to your head. I still feel guilty though, like I wasn't tough enough to muddle through. Oh well. We did end up going over to Mike and Renee's house on Saturday night and here are some of the resulting pics:

We don't do much when it is hot either. You're right- it is miserable sweating through your clothes- not to mention gross. I hate being cold, but I hate being too hot. At least you got to get together with friends! That's always fun!

i didn't get out like i wanted to either. just no fun when you feel like you're melting.
