Just another manic Saturday
Fun... but manic. The day consisted of 2 hours of exercise, laundry, swimming, Adventure Park with the Dolls, shopping for 2 hours at K@hls, and then dinner at Acapulc@. Its definitely time to go to bed - looks like someone beat me to it. ;)

Oh happy day
I just found out that I know someone who works at Aved@ corporate and gets defective products (not really defective - just something wrong with the shape of the bottle) for cheap cheap cheap! So I just got this (Aved@ Light Elements $moothing Fluid) for a dollar! I'm pretty happy right now! I feel like I'm a druggie who's just found a new dealer. Woo!Monday, April 07, 2008

What to do what to do...
Policy change will allow early entrance to kindergarten
Friday, March 28th, 2008
The Anoka-Hennepin School Board recently approved a new policy that will allow parents to apply for early entrance into kindergarten for children who are almost 5 years old. Parents and guardians of children whose fifth birthdays fall between Sept. 2 and Oct. 31 can submit an application to have students considered for that year's kindergarten class instead of waiting until the next year."These are the students most emotionally and socially ready for kindergarten," said Lynn Montgomery, assistant director of student services. "We want this to be a positive, successful experience for the child so we want to do everything we can to ensure that."Prior to this change, district policy was that every child entering kindergarten had be 5 years old by Sept. 1 of that year. The application for early entrance into kindergarten includes a parent/guardian questionnaire, copy of birth certificate and a letter of recommendation from a preschool or other group setting teacher and is due by June 1. A formal intellectual assessment is also required, and will be administered free of charge in June at the Anoka-Hennepin Family Welcome Center by a licensed school psychologist.Early entrance into kindergarten applications will be reviewed by the assistant director of student services, the kindergarten principal, and the building principal. Each student will also have a follow-up review after six weeks in the kindergarten program.
I think I'm going to try and get Brady in. If he doesn't pass - he doesn't pass, and it wasn't meant to be...

Busy Weekend
Besides the usual exercising, cleaning, and laundry, this weekend also consisted of going to Brian's truck display on Friday night, starting swim lessons (again) on Saturday and then going out to Texas RH with the Bennett's, and then on Sunday going to Bethany's surprise 30th birthday party at the Guthrie (we had brunch at the Cue and then saw Jane E). Good times.

T-ball
Yesterday was the last night of indoor t-ball. Thank God! I don't think we could handle another night of Jayda's antics. Brady did really well and we are looking forward to summer t-ball with him, but Jayda... well, the pictures tell the story of how well she did. Not one single time did she throw, catch, or hit the ball.
In all fairness, she is only 3, so maybe next year will be better...

This is what a typical day consists of
Brady getting mad at me at least once and crossing his eyes to show his "anger."

Pics from my mom
I guess the horses escaped the other day... but with the deep, deep, snow, they didn't get very far. :)
I think these pics are so pretty. Beautiful day. Beautiful horses.
Remember this post? Well the experiment failed. Shady is NOT going to be a mama. : (

Like mother like daughter... and son too
Ever since my kids were born they have been on the low end, percentile wise, for weight and height. So, it should have come as no surprise to me when I went to the doctor today for my yearly MS physical and they gave me my numbers: my weight is in the 8th percentile according to my age and height. Since when do doctors offices do that for adults? I felt like I was back in kindergarten. I think it was just the nurse I had. She was really into numbers. Still, it was kind of validating to know that the apples didn't fall far from the tree. ;)
Answer
This is for those of you who had a little trouble putting the correct 2 and 2 together. ;)

My Weekend in Pictures
Saturday

After I watched the TMNT with the kids, I could not for the life of me remember what all 4 of their names were. It was driving me CRAZY!!! I finally had to look it up when I got to work this morning. The stumper for me was Raphael.
And if you can put 2 and 2 together, you'll be able to figure out where Jeff works.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I'm so tired today. I was tired yesterday too. Its my own fault; Brian has been out of town since Tuesday and I always sleep like crap when winkie and dinkie are in the bed with me. How can 2 little people take up so much space?! They have no concept of vertical sleeping. Its either \ / or __ .
So Jeff started his job yesterday and came home with a uniform of sorts. I died laughing when he put it on. He'd kill me if I posted the entire pic, so I'm just going to post a little section of it. ;)
He looks cute in it though and someday he'll be thankful for this job and the experience. At least it pays pretty well, has perks, has 401K and health insurance etc. And the sooner he starts making and saving some money, the sooner he can move out, which I think he wants almost as bad as we do.
