He's mad at me again

Last memorial day we planted a couple of Maple trees (1 for each kid) out in our backyard. We thought it would be neat to watch them grow along with the kids.
However, Zessie (the dog I adopted without Brian's consent), had other plans for those trees and little by little she has been destroying them. Brian did everything in his power to save them: he wrapped them in tape, sprayed that black junk on them, trimmed back the areas she chewed on etc., but last night Zessie finally won. I honestly don't know when she did it, but this morning when I looked out of the window this is what I saw:

Poor little tree #1
Poor little tree #2
Brian officially hates me and the dog. I think we might need to find a new home.

That's pretty funny. Good thing it was the trees and not the kids;) Gosh, hope he has/had a happy homecoming after the week you've had! I can't believe you've never made no-bakes!?! Yum! You'll have to try them!

Why don't you try those no-bakes for a special "I'm-sorry-my-dog-ate-the-trees" treat and apology when he gets home! ;)

You could always plant new trees and put little fences around them until they are big enough - which may take some time BUT hopefully the dog will get the point and maybe forget about them in a couple of years! LOL
